Officially, Rotary is “an organization of business and professional men and women united worldwide, who provide humanitarian service, encourage, high ethical standards in all vocations; help build goodwill and peace in the world.” * The pioneer of all existing service clubs * Non-commercial, non-political, non-sectarian, and non-secretive * Both community-minded and world-minded * Composed of local business and professional men and women who have accepted the Ideal of Service as a basis for attaining fulfilment in their personal, vocational, and community lives.

Rotary grows in the heart. If you have self pride and self reward helping others in your community, country and world, then you are in the right place. Rotary gives you what you give it. Whether you are at a Rotary event or traveling abroad in any corner of the world, you will have "family" to welcome you and share wonderful life experiences. Since Rotary was founded by businessmen and continues to grow with business people, networking can be a great by-product as well.
